Alpine Slide

The Alpine Slide in Saalfelden is a popular attraction for young and old alike. Sit down, shift the lever, and away you go:

At high speed or a more leisurely pace, the 1.6 km ride - with 60 curves, 2 jumps and dropping 345 vertical meters - promises exhilarating enjoyment.

The ride up using the double chairlift on the Biberg in Saalfelden is included with your Löwen Alpin Card. But there's lots to discover away from the slide as well. Countless unforgettable moments are promised by the green alpine meadows and magnificent forests of this mountain world surrounding the Leoganger and Loferer Steinberge as well as the Steinernes Meer.

The view extends out all the way to Maria Alm and the Hochkönig Massif. The paths lead through flora and fauna typical of the region, with friendly mountain inns and huts flanking the way.
