"La Liaison - Where it is still genuine."

A cuvée of Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt, grown on a soil of shell limestone with a clay surface and mica schist mixed with quartz.  This wine matured in large wooden casks and small barriques. It is a dark ruby with a nose of blackberry, full-flavored, with a mature tannin structure, compact body, lingering on the palate, and possesses an extremely fruity, mineral finish.

In just a few years, this young winery has worked itself to the forefront of the region's wines.  Since 1996, this newcomer has enjoyed great success in implementing its oenological ideas.  Producing some 20 to 30 hl/hectare, the result is very distinctive, concentrated wines of the very highest caliber.  The winery is boasts 23 ha of vineyards in two of the best wine-growing regions in all of Austria, one in Purbach on lake Neusiedlersee (Neusiedlersee Hill Country), the other in Reisenberg ("Thermenregion"), which is also where the business is headquartered.  Thus the vine stocks can be matched perfectly to the soil and weather conditions.

The winery strives to work closely with Mother Nature herself, and also cultivates the vineyards bio-dynamically.
