Without a motorway vignette: Munich motorway - Salzburg (A8) - Siegsdorf (Traunstein) exit - Lofer - Saalfelden - at Interspar roundabout take the Leogang exit With* motorway vignette: Munich motorway - A 12 Inntal motorway - Kufstein/Kiefersfelden - 'Kufstein Süd' exit - St. Johann/Tirol - Fieberbrunn - Hochfilzen - Leogang * In Austria vignettes are compulsory on all motorways and expressways, without exception. And also on the short section between Kiefersfelden and 'Kufstein Süd'!
Coming from east Austria
'Westautobahn Wien' motorway (A1) - Salzburg - Wals/Lofer exit - Kleines Deutsche Eck - Lofer - Saalfelden - at the Interspar roundabout take the Leogang exit
Coming from south Austria
Tauernautobahn (A10) - Bischofshofen exit - Zell am See - Saalfelden - at the Interspar roundabout take the Leogang exit. The connecting route via Dientner Sattel is shorter, but also has lots of twists and turns. In Leogang the best thing to do is follow the signposts for the "Asitzbahn".

The nearest mainline station is Saalfelden (approx. 10 km). There are train stations in Leogang (approx.. 2 km) and in Hochfilzen (approx. 10 km) too. Collection by the hotel from these train stations is free of charge. Please let us know the details of your arrival time in advance. Anyday arrival is available. The closest international airport is Salzburg (approx. 70 km). It is a short flight for guests coming from Germany to Salzburger Land with Lufthansa, Easyjet and Eurowings from Berlin (Schönefeld & Tegel), Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Münster and Cologne. There are also many other destinations in the UK, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Belgium (Brussels) and France (Paris) that are ideally placed for connections to Salzburg.Transfer by local bus service (Line 260) to Saalfelden - approx. 5 x day, without having to change (approx. € 14.00).
